However you’d like to experience Oak Hill, there’s a way to visit that fits: book a private tour for your group, or walk the grounds yourself at your own pace using our map and burial records. However you visit, we ask that you treat the grounds — and the families resting here — with care.
Private Tours
Sights, Symbols, & Stories of Oak Hill
Bring your group — a club, a class, a family gathering, or a few curious friends — for a private tour tailored to your schedule. Choose our standard 90-minute tour, or ask about a 75-minute special topic tour
- $25 per adult; $10 per student or senior (65+)
- $60 deposit required to reserve your date
- $100 minimum charge per tour
Groups of 25 or more may be split among multiple guides at no extra cost - Tours must begin at least 90 minutes before sunset
During peak seasons, please schedule your private tour at least three weeks in advance.

Self-Guided
Walk at Your Own Pace
Prefer to wander on your own? Oak Hill welcomes self-guided visitors daily, from sunrise to sunset. Start with our general map of the grounds to get your bearings, or search our burial records to find a specific name — the interactive tool will map out walking directions right to the plot. Take all the time you’d like among the grounds.
